Frida The Feminist - Frida Kahlo
I've grown to know Frida's face pretty well, and I enjoy painting her and finding out about her life every time. For her day, she was unusually independent and outspoken.
She was a heavy drinker and smoker who didn't mind expressing her opinions and living her life how she wanted rather than how society "expected" women to at the time. I find that admirable. For who she was and what she stood for, I admire her. She is an artist who I admire for all she has endured.
