When I am doing a painting inspired by Vincent I 

always think about what a troubled person he was and

 I seem to want to created serene environments for him.

If he painted such beautiful works being so ill can you image

what he could create being in a state of calm, peaceful and

untroubled.

 Maybe sitting here looking out on the land that

he so lovingly painted, smoking his pipe, having some tea and

enjoying a good book surrounded by the the irises that he

painted so often.

The scene was inspired by one of Vincent's paintings
